The 2025 BYD Song L DM-i is a plug-in hybrid coupe-SUV built around BYD's efficient DM-i system, pairing a 1.5-litre petrol engine (101 hp) with a 215 hp electric drive motor and an E-CVT for smooth, near-silent progress. It offers up to 112 km of pure-electric range and a combined range of more than 1,600 km, with AC charging at 3.3 kW and DC fast charging up to 40 kW taking the battery from 0–80% in around 25–30 minutes. Finished in white over a tan leather interior, it rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and brings power front seats, folding rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, ambient LED lighting, automatic climate control with rear vents and a 50W wireless charger.
